I have been here for two yrs. People who complain usually have broken rules and are upset about it. This place is a bit disorganized and if you work make sure you go early as to have time for any unseen issues like holds that could take some extra time out of your day. Counselors come and go like any clinic really. You get what you put in basically. I have take home privliages and inky go twice a week. All in all... if you want to be held accountable and need a good life change it's worth a shot! Good luck!
I have been going there over a year now and I left off one star for the disorganization and chaos that goes on a lot. My counselor Jewle is great! She really cares, listens, and gives feedback. I like it a lot better than Tadiso. To each their own though. I recommend this form of treatment after all else has failed. Just 2 years ago I was likely to die and I decided one day that I was done being sick and I dedicated myself to doing the program and I have made a lot of progress. It takes dedication to keep up a habit so making a trip to get your medicine daily for 90 days shouldn't be an issue. If you give clean urines you SHOULD be able to get weekends off. Sunday's are guaranteed a day off now here. I have earned my way up in a year, if you stay clean and meet with your counselor instead of ducking them you will make progress. I have found Methadone to be more successful for me than Suboxone. The daily routine is actually rather helpful for me. Your place at any recovery medical facility is based on YOU.. You can blame any nurse, counselor, security, etc.. Ultimately it's what YOU are making of the situation. Do the right thing and stay away from fellow addicts in those places or don't.. It's all up to you and your choices.
I've been a patient here for many years. I've had no problems other than the location. The closest bus stop is appx a mile, and the walk to/from the bus stop requires walking down a 4 lane highway. Rt 51. There is no sidewalk so you have to walk down a dirt/mud trail between the guardrail and Saw Mill Creek. The program itself is very good. Just follow the rules, be serious about your recovery, and you will not have problems like the ppl who are writing reviews that are complaints. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is just the accessibility.
I have been here for a little over two months and I left off one star for the disorganization and chaos that goes on a lot. My counselor Paul is great! He really cares, listens, and gives feedback. As long as you follow the program you can turn your life around! You get out what you put in, if you aren't committed to using the tools they provide don't waste your time, their are people who desperately need to be inrolled to save their life but to be honest if you're serious about getting your life back they are there to help but you have to do your part also, it's definitely not a magic cure!
Great place, saved my life, you get out what you put in. If you follow the rules you can get take homes and only go in once a week and it's easy to get to work or whatever you have to do.
The 2nd and best methadone clinic I've been in so far! I like it a lot better than Tadiso. Some of the clinic rules and policies are ridiculous, but it's for the clients safety and protection. They also permit you to be on psych meds and benzodiazepines as long as they're prescribed by a psychiatrist! This is the best program if you have an opiate addiction and mental health issues!
This page needs updated to reflect that there are technically TWO Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) Outpatient Clinics at this site. They're both the same company but there are two divisions. Ensign 2 has different hours than the other; closing earlier and, I believe, opening slightly earlier as well. They close at 11:00 on weekdays and 9:30 on Saturday and Sunday.
I haven't had any problems. Counselor is great. Just wish they made a better path to the bus

I like it here. My councelor is the greatest. Their security is a little gunhoe happy. But they say its for our protection. The doctor here is one of the better at a D&A place she cares about her patients.
They made their wrongs right
This clinic is full of really great counselors and staff who truly want to help you and see your life improve. As the other reviewer mentioned, you get out of it what you're willing to put in. If you're willing to work within the confines of the rules, Alliance has many great benefits to offer. They offer take home privileges after at least 90 days clean and mandatory groups are completed, patients are required to complete 3 hours of counseling each month either with their counselor or by doing group sessions, and this clinic can also increase your dose by up to 10 mg at a time which can really make a difference in the beginning when you're getting started and trying to find your stable dose. The staff here are all dedicated professionals who truly want to see their clients and patients succeed. The program is designed with harm reduction in mind and it is a very self-guided process. They don't determine your length of treatment, you do. There are actually two clinics on the premises, Ensign I and Ensign II, with I being the "pay" side where clients pay out of pocket and II being the side that takes insured clients. Dosing hours are from 8 am to 11:30 am for most people, with only certain exceptions able to dose at 6:30 am (*which are mainly granted to people who work early or who have transportation limitations). Alliance also participates with Traveler's Aid and will provide a FREE bus pass to those who come every day. Access vans also make trips to this clinic as well. If you are in need of treatment, please call as soon as possible. Due to the overwhelming opiate addiction crisis in our country many clinics, including this one, are at full capacity and cannot take appointments for new intakes immediately. Most people will be placed on a waiting list and will only be able to come in after weeks of waiting. If it is your intention to get clean NOW, this may not be the best option for you. Nor should methadone maintenance treatment be your first option in getting clean. Many people have great success with Suboxone and are drug free in a year or less whereas the average length of treatment for a methadone patient here is 3 years. Don't let that number scare you though...just take your recovery one day at a time and do whatever it takes to make it through each day sober. I'd recommend this clinic for serious addicts who are looking for a long-term solution to their addiction. As they are wont to say there, "you didn't become an addict overnight and you aren't going to get clean overnight, either".
U get wat u put in. Period. They will help if u want it. Lori is thee best person there, hands down.
